Jam packed November

This month has been a busy one for the boys at 626 Cowley. In between football games and academics, we had the opportunity to participate in our second annual boxing charity event and attend our annual semi-formal.

Phi Delt, along with Pi Kappa Alpha, Phi Kappa Tau, Sigma Pi, Kappa Sigma, and Sigma Beta Rho, all came together to help the HAWK (Helping a Willing Kid ) foundation. This is a local Lansing charity that benefits underprivileged youth in the Lansing area. At the end of the event, we were able to raise $15,000 dollars, all of which went towards the charity.

In addition, Phi Delt had four fighters compete in this year’s matchup at “Fight Night”, it was one of the top turnouts of any fraternity.

“I had an awesome time participating this year and I can’t wait to get back in the ring next year,” Lee Workum ‘21 said. “It was a great experience and I really enjoyed trying something new.”

In a quick turn of events, the next night the boys headed to Windsor to ARIIUS night club inside Caesars Windsor. Everyone and their dates had an amazing time dancing and partying the night away. What a great way to blow off some steam before we settle in for finals.
