Lumberjanes raises over $2,500 for ALS research

Our annual fall philanthropy event, “Lumberjanes” was our biggest in recent history! An absolute success! We had a total of 12 teams from all social backgrounds here at MSU: student organizations, Greek Life, friends of the fraternity and even D 1 athletics.

“This year’s event was a huge success and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun,” Tyler Korber, Philanthropy chair, said. “We’re proud to announce that as a chapter we raised 2,700 dollars towards the “Live Like Lou Foundation” that helps to fight ALS.”

Some of the favorite events this year were the inflatable obstacle course, the tug of war and the volleyball tournament.

The crisp fall day was infused with cheers, laughter and high energy.

We’d like to thank our Philanthropy chair Tyler Korber and his committee for their hard work on organizing this awesome event. We cannot wait to see what next year will bring.

We’d also like to congratulate the MSU women’s D-1 soccer team on winning Lumberjanes! Congrats Ladies!
